The journey of your packaging machinery—from price confirmation to its final arrival at your facility—involves multiple stages, including booking, customs declaration, ocean freight, customs clearance, and final delivery. A hitch at any point could leave your equipment stranded at a port, cause delivery delays, or even lead to unexpected costs. As your supplier, we handle this entire logistics chain for you. You simply confirm the price and delivery timeline, and we take care of the rest.
We clarify shipping costs right from the start. Given the high value and large dimensions of packaging machinery, freight costs are significant. We don’t just provide an EXW (Ex-Works) price and leave you to guess the shipping expenses. Based on the equipment’s dimensions and weight, we offer clear, tailored shipping solutions—whether it’s Full Container Load (FCL) or Less than Container Load (LCL), FOB or CIF, or door-to-door versus port-to-port delivery. You receive a comprehensive cost breakdown that includes shipping, sparing you the hassle of having to seek out a freight forwarder yourself.
We manage coordination with freight forwarders. Once production is complete, we handle the booking process directly. Our international trade team prepares and submits all necessary documentation—including booking requests, commercial invoices, packing lists, equipment nameplate details, and HS codes—to the freight forwarder. Packaging machinery is typically shipped via FCL; we determine the appropriate container type (such as a 40HQ or specialized container) and ensure that all wooden crates undergo fumigation and bear the required IPPC markings, preventing any issues during customs clearance at the destination port.
We oversee the container loading process. Because packaging machinery consists of large, heavy items, the loading method is critical to ensuring safe transport. We wrap the equipment in moisture-proof film, secure it within reinforced wooden crates, and pack fragile or vulnerable components separately. During loading, we document the securing of the equipment and the container seal number with photographs—providing direct evidence should any disputes arise during transit.
We keep you informed throughout the ocean voyage. Once the vessel departs, we provide you with the Bill of Lading (B/L) number, the vessel name and voyage number, and the estimated time of arrival (ETA) at the destination port. You don’t need to keep asking, “Where is my shipment?” We will proactively provide status updates at key milestones. Should any delays occur at transshipment ports or changes arise in the shipping schedule, we will notify you immediately—before you even have to ask.
We ensure a seamless transition upon arrival. Once the cargo reaches the destination port, customs clearance is handled by you or your designated agent (unless we have agreed upon DDP terms, in which case we take care of customs clearance as well). Following customs release, we coordinate with our local agent to arrange trucking and deliver the equipment to your specified address. For large-scale packaging machinery that may require a forklift for unloading, we will confirm the unloading conditions with you in advance to avoid any awkward situations where the cargo arrives but cannot be unloaded.
Finally, please inspect the goods before signing for them. When the equipment arrives, check the outer packaging for any signs of damage, water exposure, or tipping. If you notice anything unusual, take photos and note the issue on the delivery receipt—do not simply sign off as “in good condition.” These records will serve as the basis for any potential future claims. We will also stay involved, assisting you in resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
From the moment you confirm your order, the safe arrival of your equipment becomes our responsibility. Our shipping rates are transparent and honest; we do not lure you in with artificially low quotes only to add extra charges later. Simply provide us with the destination address, and we will take care of the rest.
